Our New Downtown Community
From the beginning of Redeemer, we knew that God was calling us to become a church planting church. Presently, we are furthering that vision by becoming one church in two locations (each one we’re calling a “community”).
Starting this summer we will launch a major mission thrust toward the area near downtown Johnson City (in addition to our present community on Chase Drive). We believe that the people in the neighborhoods surrounding downtown have a few churches trying to reach them with the Gospel. And we are praising God that many people at Redeemer are stepping up to reach these people for Christ.
