WOMEN's MINISTRY DIRECTOR

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Women’s Ministry Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all Women’s Ministry programs and activities within the church. This role requires a strong commitment to the Christian faith, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a heart for serving and ministering to women.

General Responsibilities

  • Continue to grow in the Gospel to ensure that you are actively worshiping Christ in and out of Sunday morning
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings 
  • Attend and/or serve at Redeemer functions as needed (i.e. partnership dinners, Christmas Eve Service, a conference hosted by Redeemer, etc.)
  • Participate in the creative planning of special events with the Staff Team
  • Participate and relationally engage in the life and ministry of Redeemer on Sundays and throughout the week

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive women’s ministry strategy in collaboration with the Lead Pastor.
  • Provide leadership and direction for all Women’s Ministry programs and activities, including weekly Bible studies for fall, spring and summer, bi-monthly social events, and a yearly retreat 
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of volunteers to help plan and execute Women’s Ministry events and activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with women in the church community and encourage their spiritual growth and discipleship.
  • Coordinate and communicate regularly with other church leaders to ensure alignment and integration of Women’s Ministry activities with the overall vision and mission of the church.
  • Create and manage the women’s ministry budget.
  • Stay current on trends and best practices in women’s ministry and incorporate new ideas and strategies as appropriate.

EXPECTATIONS & COMPENSATION

Hours: 15 hours per week

Reports To: Executive Pastor

Salary: The salary for this part-time position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. No benefits are offered for this position.
